David started his career as an electric guitarist and studied jazz music for
several years. After finishing his higher musical studies in both Sweden and
Norway, David completed an Advanced Diploma in Performance, on classical guitar,
with Professor John Mills at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He
tours constantly and has given recitals in large parts of Europe and Australia
as a soloist but also with musicians such as celebrated virtuoso violinist Nils-Erik
Sparf or his own band. He has appeared numerous times on radio and television
with both jazz and classical music. “David Härenstam Band is not
supposed to be some kind of fusion”, he says, but rather “ a clash”
between all different kinds of music. “The difference is the approach,
we don’t cross-over we just clash”
"I am like a yoyo, I regret every single note I have ever played. The notes that I play, and kind of like today, I will surely hate tomorrow but then again the day after that... I will probably hate them even more." - David.....

"I bought a rock today from Christophers crystals in the Cuba mall,
Kelly was with me
we were hanging out, he bought some tigers eye for insight. I bought a peacock
rock for laughter...
I have been laughing all afternoon...."

Tinnitus Therapi Trip is a very different
group and the music is not limited by any rules or etiquette:
The playing is unique and the musicians different attitudes and background from
various idioms is mixed spontaneously.
No compositions or restrictions are applied and everything is created in the
very moment.
Everything is allowed nothing banned.
"I don't think we should rehearse at all before recording
it would somehow destroy it. I don't think any band ever has become any better
by rehearsing!"
